Dog walking visits and home visits 

​

  • Your dog will be collected, transported safely and walked for the duration specified, then returned to the specified place in your home. 

  • Your dog may be walked directly from the home or conveyed by vehicle to a suitable place to walk, this will be agreed in advance. 

  • Your dog will require a harness if travelling via vehicle. Dogs will be towelled off but may not be 100% clean/dry.  Collection times are approximate and will be kept to as closely as possible but may be affected by situations outside of our control.

  • Dogs MUST always wear tags to satisfy UK Law. The tag must include Name of the owner (surname) And up-to-date address of the owner (house number and postcode)

  • It is the owners responsibility to provide, lead, collar or harness that fits the animal correctly, if they are unsafe or damaged the service may be refused.

  • All pets must have a completed client form and have been met before their first walk, any changes to the information on that form, must be communicated in advance.

  • Please ensure access is safe and clear

  • If the pet is to be fed please ensure instructions have been shared and the food is easily accessible.

  • If medication is needed to be administered please ensure this is easily accessible and instructions for administering have been clearly communicated.

 

Home access

 

  • Access to your property is granted at your own risk.

  • All keys will be held in a safe and secure place when not in use. They will not be labelled with any address identifiable information and separately from any door or alarm codes.
  • If using a lock box please ensure the code is shared with All 4 Paws and that it is kept up to date.
  • If a separate key is required for garden access, please ensure it is available

  • If door entry codes or alarm codes are required please ensure they are shared with all 4 paws (they will be stored securely) and if they change, all 4 paws are updated.

 

Payment

 

  • Payment will be accepted via direct bank transfer or cash. You will be invoiced after each walk/visit or weekly, as you would prefer. Payment should be made within 3 days of invoice. If, however, this is not possible for any reason please contact me and we can discuss a solution. 

  • If paying cash this should be left for collection at the time of the appointment.

  • Any price changes will be communicated to you no less than 28 days before the planned change.

 

Weather

 

During extreme weather, such as heat wave or snow, walks may need to be cancelled or rearranged at short notice. I will do my best to continue as normal but always have the safety and welfare of your pet in mind and other options will be explored wherever possible. i.e. Changing a walk to a drop in visit.

 

Cancellation

 

If you need to cancel, please do so with as much notice as possible. If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, you will be charged 50% of the booking.
